Follow the guide below to configure Microsoft Outlook Express 5 on Mac OS9 (Classic)
Double click Outlook Express icon.

Click the Tools option from the menu bar and choose the Accounts option.

When the Accounts window comes up, click the Mail tab and select New.

The Account Setup Assistant will guide you through the configuration process.

In the Your Name window, enter your full name and click the right arrow button.
In the Internet E-mail Address window, enter your e-mail address.

Click the right arrow button.
In the E-mail Server Names, select POP response to the prompt that says My incoming mail server is a(n).

In the field marked Incoming mail (POP, IMAP) server, enter pop.hotkey.net.au. In the Outgoing mail (SMPT) server field, enter mail.hotkey.net.au. Click the right arrow button.
In the Internet Mail Logon window, enter your complete email address into the Account ID field.

In the Password field, enter your password, if you want your password saved tick the Save password box. Click the right arrow button to continue.
Congratulations. You have successfully set up your account.

Choose an name to refer to your account (e.g. Hotkey Mail) and enter the name into the Account name field.
Click Finish to complete the setup.

You are now ready to receive and send e-mail.
