The Netcomm NB5 Version 3 has a few differences, the unit has differences in the physical appearance and the web configuration has changed.

The guide below is for the Manual configuration of the Netcomm NB5 Version 3 Via the Web Interface.

1. Open Internet Explorer
   
   
   
2. In the Address bar type 192.168.1.1 and hit enter
   
   
   
3. At the prompt enter the username admin and the password admin then click Login
   
   
   
4. Select the Protocol as PPPoE (Alternativly you can select PPPoA VC-MUX.
   
   
   
5. Enter your Username and Password, if you are not sure of your username please see the service sheet provided when you joined Hotkey Broadband.
   
   
   
   Leave the VPI and VCI Settings as 8 and 35. Click Apply to continue.
   
6. The modem will now apply the settings and attempt to connect to the Internet.
   
   
   
7. You will now be returned to the Main EzyConfig Screen and the modem will attempt to connect. (The page will refresh every few seconds to show the status)
   
   
   
8. The Connection Status should go green to indicate you are connected to the internet.
   
   
   
9. If you were not sucessfully able to connect to the Internet, check your Password, and try a diferent protocol setting. You can also access advanced settings and view the System Log by clicking Advanced Settings.
