iConnect 622 - USB CD Setup PDF Print E-mail

The Following Guide will assist you to setup the iConnect Access 622 ADSL Modem via USB using the supplied iConnect Setup CD. Before you begin you should ensure that the iConnect 622 Unit is not connected and that you have all supplied parts ready.

Note: It is highly recommended that you use Ethernet when an Ethernet Connection is available, the USB connection is for use in cases where Ethernet is Not available.



  1. Place the Open iConnectDSL CD into the CD Rom drive. The installation utility will begin automatically.

    Note: Mac OSX Users need to double click on the iConnect CD on their desktop to begin the Setup.

  2. The iConnectDSL Welcome dialog box will appear on screen.



    Type your name (eg. John Smith), then click Begin.

  3. The configuration process will begin.



    Please wait while this process takes place

  4. Connect Mains Power when prompted



    Once you have properly connected the Mains Power, Click Continue

  5. Select the Alternative Option to Connect Via USB


  6. Connect the Blue USB Cable When Prompted



    Once you have properly connected the USB cable, Click Continue

  7. Connect the Phone Cable when prompted then Click Continue


  8. The Broadband Account Details dialogue box will appear



    In the Username field type your username followed by @primusdsl or @dsl2.iprimus.com.au, depending on the type of account you have (if unsure please check your Service Summary sheet, this is on an A4 sheet sent with your modem), then type your password into the Password and Confirm password fields. Click Continue.

  9. The configuration process will continue..



    Please wait while this process takes place

  10. The Installation completion dialogue box will appear.



    Your Hotkey Broadband ADSL connection is now configured and connected. Click Finish to start browsing the internet.
